Complicated Mess

If you know me, you might know how complicated i am.

1st scenario
i was in osaka and wanted to buy souvenirs.
1 for my mom and 1 each for my 4 best friends.
the total amount spent for my 4 best friends must not exceed the amount i spent for my mom, or i feel like a bad daughter for putting my friends first.
i had trouble calculating everything and stayed up all night during the final night just to ensure this.
i even went out again before heading back to malaysia to buy something else for my mom to comply with the equation (my mom's > (my friends x4)

2nd scenario
a good friend of mine asked me to join her on a trip to korea
i said yes but i told her i need time to collect the money.
meanwhile, there's a talk i would like to attend before the date of the trip.
it will be held in Singapore and i wished i could solo-travel singapore too while attending the talk.
so it means i will be spending my money that is supposed to be used for the korea trip on a mini getaway in singapore.
i feel like a bad friend and decided not to go to the talk.

well, there's a lot more scenarios but i guess it will be a lil bit too personal.
writing those down makes me wonder
am i really complicated?
or just an overthinker that takes things too personally haha

what the heck

i was about to write about my insecurities
my regrets, my unclear future and all those irritating sad stories that nobody wanted to read on a monday morning

then suddenly this song came on and i thought..what the heck.

i'll get through these roller coaster emotions again
like i always do. no point writing about it.
